My contributions to education include providing a dynamic learning environment for all children. My passion, dedication, and persistance are all qualities I intend to transcend to my students.
I believe effective teaching strategies entail implementing creativity. A creative teacher utilizes a variety of teaching tools in order to meet the diversity of children in the classroom. My philosophy is demonstrated through my willingness to communicate with fellow co-workers. My fellow peers provide a learning foundation that allows me to expand on my creativity and teaching strategies. My co-workers provide the backbone necessary to become the best I can be. My greatest reward is to have children return to me years later and have them acknowledge the difference I made in their lives.
I have volunteered as Santa Claus for a non-profit organization. As Santa Claus, I greeted many Haitian children from the community. My volunteer work provided smiles for all children from low economic households. The commitment to my school parallels the passion and dedication I have for Teaching. I strive to make the school I work for unique in its own right. I want to make the school I teach in unique for its unmatched and effective approach to education.
My peers have been an instrumental part of my professional growth. The support I have received has allowed me to facilitate the process of acclimating myself to the responsibilities associated with teaching. I feel that a mentor is an integral part in providing a new teacher with support and guidance. As a beginning teacher, I feel fortunate to work among such a supportive team of teachers.
