Health Issues

The Florida Immunization Law states that all students in Pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade be immunized.

In order to enter kindergarten in Miami-Dade County, a child must have an official record including the month and year of the following items and this record must be signed by a doctor or health care provider.

4 - DPTS (diphtheria,pertussis,tetanus)
3 - Polio
2 - MMR (measles, mumps, rubella)
1 - Lead screening (with results / month and date of test)
1 - TB (tuberculosis) or PPD (with positive or negative and date)
1 - Hepatitis B
